Hello Once More

Long time no see. I guess with the fun of Google+ and Facebook, we kinda forgot we had a LiveJournal account. One new password (because the old one was long forgotten), and we're back on your Friends Lists again. Poor you. :p

For those who are wondering (if anyone still even reads LJ, throw us a comment if you do) - yes, TigerTails Radio is still on the air. Broadcasting every Monday from 9pm UK time. Xavier and Eeve3 are still with us, and TK is still running the ship (and crashing it in to rocks'n'things). We're now on Season 6, and have had 27 episodes of it! We also have our own server, and are no longer relying on others to broadcast us (yey). It's all on the up, really. Not to mention the regular contributions from others in the community.

The website is, as always, http://www.tigertailsradio.co.uk - why not pay a visit and refresh your memories, and have a listen to Season 6 so far. Maybe join us in IRC while listening in on Monday's show when it comes round? Or even watch the LiveStream. We might be playing Blockbusters again if all goes well. Wish us luck... :)

Well, May 16th is not only the final show of Season 5, it's also the TigerTails Radio Gunge-a-thon 3. We missed Red Nose Day, but that doesn't mean you can't still donate. Click the banner to check out the website for more details!

Mortal Kombat (Episode 44)

Don't forget, the cast are at a Mortal Kombat Tournament tonight, so TTR24 takes over until they return. Live show starts around 9.30pm, with TTR 24 starting at around 6.30pm and carrying on until the cast get back. Expect lots of bitching about cheap moves!

It's Konami Night!

It's Episode 42 of Season 5 tonight, which means it's Show #573 overall. Konami Night! Since the number 573 is important to Konami, we decided to host a Konami themed show when the counter rolled around to our 573th show. I'm kinda surprised we made it, but there you go, we have!

So as well as the fun in IRC (#tigertailsradio on the Anthrochat server), we have a Konami themed AudioSurf Challenge, lots of Konami music in the playlist, and even a Konami surprise! Oooooooh!

I knew I was forgetting to advertise somewhere! Hello LiveJournal Land! it's nice to see you again, even if nothing has really changed. We're still on at 9pm GMT on Monday nights, and we're still in the #tigertailsradio IRC channel on Anthrochat.net as normal.

It's Valentine's day today! As TK is single, he doesn't care - but Eeve3 has another half,and so does Xavier. Mr Xavier will be away for this show as he's spending time with his other half, but if we're lucky Eeve3's other half (Salamander3) may turn up if he's been good and done all his homework! :) Heh, students. :p

Anyway, silliness aside, tune in for all the good old fashion segments that you've all come to know and love. 9pm on BritFur, The Paw, BeatPortFM, and on TigerTails Entertainment's own personal server. We're bloody everywhere kids! :)

The website is yet to be updated with it (as this happened a few minutes ago) but there is a Flash player on the front page of the website to use - or pop in to IRC for the server/port number if Flash isn't your thing! With any luck, the details will go on to the website during the show!

Just a few little minutes until we're live. This week both Eeve3 and Xavier have abandoned us for Christmas, but fear not - TK has help. Cue Felis (our regular game reviewer) for another crack in the hot seat as guest presenter. Viewers will be able to watch him in Xavier's seat.

Website issues

Typical. Just hours before Episode 26 is due to air, the website goes down. Thankfully, there is a backup hosted on the TigerTails Entertainment Servers which you can use until the main site is restored.

This site is using the same bandwidth the show uses, so we kindly request people don't download podcasts or large files during the show, as it will affect the quality of the stream.

As normal, TigerTails Radio will be starting at 9pm UK time (when do the clocks go back, BTW?) on BritFur.fm (and The Paw too, with any luck) and we've gotten over the Sonic 4 love/hate now, so there will be less of the Sonic in this episode. Instead, we bring a new AudioSurf Challenge to play - because we're nice like that.
